What is on the screen

  1. The mode switch: “Looking for a new home” or “Breeding”.
  2. Filters (details) and the bell with news about your requests.
  3. The animal card: photo, name, age, distance.
  4. The buttons “Skip”, “Details” (the “i” icon) and the heart.
  5. The bottom menu: “Applications”, “Chats”, “Cards”, “Animals”, “Profile”.

How to browse

  • Tap the left or right edge of the photo to flip through pictures.
  • Swipe left or tap the cross to skip an animal. Swipe right or tap the heart for “Want to adopt” (in “Breeding” mode, “Want as a mate”).
  • The “i” button opens details: health, weight, owner and place.
  • The “Why you see this” block explains why a card is in your feed, for example “This is near you”.

Labels on a card

  • Verified or Verified shelter: the owner has the badge (what it is).
  • Needs urgent help: the flag has been confirmed by a moderator (more).
  • Promoted: the owner paid to raise the profile in the feed. This is not a brand ad.
  • Ad, with the advertiser’s name and an erid number: an advertising block. You can hide it with the “Hide” button.
  • Demo animal (test): a demonstration profile (what that is).

Card order

The nearest are shown first. The search area widens by itself if there are few profiles nearby. A skipped profile returns after 30 days.

What happens at the end

  • “You have seen everyone nearby for now”: change your filters or check back later.
  • “No cards here yet”: reset your filters.
  • No connection: the current card stays, and your actions work once the connection is back.

Tip. There are keyboard shortcuts for computers. The list opens with the “Keyboard shortcuts” button in the feed.
