My animals: add and edit a profile
How to create a profile, publish, pause or delete it and what the statuses mean.
What you need
At least one photo (up to 10), a name, an age (an approximate one is fine), a sex, a species, a purpose and a city. Breeding also needs a breed.
How to add an animal
- Open “Animals” and tap “Add animal”.
- Photos: upload pictures. The first becomes the cover (about photos).
- About the animal: species, name, age or date of birth, sex, breed or “Mixed breed”, colour, temperament, size, weight, vaccinations, neutering, description.
- Purpose: finding the animal a new family (rehoming), finding a mate of the same breed (breeding), or selling puppies, kittens or other young animals (this purpose is switched on separately: if it is not in the list, it is not enabled yet). One purpose at a time; you can change it later.
- Details: “Price and terms” (optional) and the “Needs urgent help” flag.
- Review: look at how the card will appear. The “Needed to publish” list is shown on the right or below.
- Tap “Publish” or “Save draft”.
The description must not contain phone numbers, email addresses or links: exchange them in the chat.
Statuses
“Draft”, “Under review” (the photo check is running), “Published”, “Paused”, “Closed”, “Blocked”, “Hidden”, “Being deleted”, “Personal pet”.
Actions
- Pause removes the animal from the feed, Resume brings it back.
- Edit opens the form. Profile completeness raises the position in matching.
- Delete removes the profile from the feed at once. The app keeps it for a few days and then deletes it for good (the confirmation window shows how long).
Common problems
- “To publish a profile, choose your city.” Set your city in your profile.
- “You can have no more than … animals.” You have reached the account limit.
- “Photos are still uploading.” Wait for the upload to finish and save again.
- Breeding is unavailable. For now breeding exists only for dogs and cats.
