Filters
How to narrow the feed by species, age, size, breed and distance.
How to open them
In the feed tap “Filters”. Quick filters are in the row beside it, and “All filters” opens the full list.
What you can choose
- Species: dogs, cats, small pets, farm animals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, invertebrates and others. The “Search species” button helps you find the one you need.
- Age: under 1 year, 1 to 3 years, 3 to 8 years, 8 years and over.
- Size: small, medium, large, very large.
- Breed: you can use “Add a breed” several times. The “Also show other breeds and mixed” tick widens the results.
- Search radius: up to the chosen number of kilometres, or “No limit”.
- Your animal (in “Breeding” mode): which animal you are looking a mate for.
- Sex (in “Need a home” mode): any, male or female.
- Price (in “Breeding” mode): “Free” or a “from” and “to” price range.
Tap “Show cards” to apply your choice, or “Reset” to clear all filters. The number of active filters is shown on the button.
Good to know
- The radius works only if your profile has a city (profile). Without a city, a radius search finds nothing.
- Distance is rounded, and anything closer than 1 km shows as “nearby”. The exact address is never shown to anyone.
- In “Breeding” mode the species, breed and sex follow your own animal, so there are no separate filters for them there.
- If no cards match your filters, tap “Reset filters”.
