Requirements

  • Formats: JPEG, PNG or WebP. HEIC and animated pictures are not accepted.
  • File size: the app shows the limit under the upload field.
  • Up to 10 photos per profile. The first is the cover.
  • Only the animal in the photo: no recognisable people, ads, phone numbers, links, QR codes or shop names. A small kennel logo without contact details is allowed.

How to upload

  1. Tap “Choose photos” or “Take a photo”, or drag a photo into the field.
  2. Choose the visible area: move and zoom the picture, then tap “Use this crop” or “Use whole photo”.
  3. Change the order by dragging or with the arrow buttons. The “Make cover” button puts the chosen photo first.

The check

When you upload, you agree to an automatic photo check by an AI service: it looks for photos with no animal, with people, contact details, ads and prohibited content. While the check runs, the photo carries the note “Under review”. You can save the profile, and it will appear in the feed automatically after the check.

If a photo fails, the profile gets the label “Needs action”. Tap “Replace photo” and upload another one. You get a notification after the check.

Reasons for rejection

There is no animal in the photo, a person is visible, there is an ad, a link, a price or contact details, the animal does not match the chosen species, the quality is too low, or the format is not supported.

Important. Photos in the chat are checked too, and the chat has a daily limit on the number of photos.
