How to set it up

  1. Add an animal with the purpose “Selling young animals” (how to add).
  2. Open “Price and terms”. State the price per young animal. If the field is empty, people will ask you for the price.
  3. Mark the documents: veterinary passport, pedigree (and club), tattoo or brand, disease tests, litter certificate, sale contract.
  4. Under “Additional” you can state the age of handover and details about the parents.
  5. Tap “Save” and publish the profile.

The “Private listing, not verified” note

Sale profiles without the “Verified” badge are shown with this note. The badge is awarded after a check (how to get it).

Rules

  • The price and the purpose of the profile must be truthful. PetMate does not set, check or guarantee prices.
  • You must not pass a sale off as rehoming or breeding.
  • PetMate does not accept money for animals, charges no commission and takes no part in payments. The contract, payment and handover happen outside the service.
  • Complying with the laws on the treatment and trade of animals is your own responsibility.

For buyers. Do not send an advance payment to strangers. Ask for the animal’s documents and meet in busy places (tips).
