Quick start
How to sign in, set your city and see your first cards in a few minutes.
Three steps
- Sign in. Enter your email, get a 6-digit code and a link, and confirm. Or tap “Continue with Google” or “Continue with Yandex”. Details: signing in.
- Introduce yourself. On the “Welcome to PetMate” screen you can enter a name (optional). Tap “Start browsing”.
- Swipe. The “Looking for a new home” feed opens. Swipe left to skip an animal; swipe right or tap the heart to send a request. Details: the feed.
To see the nearest animals
Open “Profile” and set your “Home city”. Without a city the app cannot show distances, and the radius filter finds nothing. A city is also required to publish your own animal.
What next
- Want to rehome an animal or find it a mate: add a profile.

Tip. The first time you open the feed, a short tour of the main buttons appears. You can run it again later in “Settings” (“Show the tips again”).
